Existing: A course that is current being taught or has been taught in the past.
New Course: A course without content. Needs to be developed by teacher.
Courses that contain student data (assignments, forums posts, quizzes, etc) and/or grades
Resources: Course that only contain documents for students to read or links to follow. Course without graded activities or student contributions that would be needed in the event of a student appeal.
Collaboration/Information Site: A moodle site that is continuous. For example, they are used year round - the semester dates do not apply to the use of the site. Facilitators take the responsibility to unenroll the users (members/participants/students) of the site as needed.
